Sardine Label Love
I absolutely adore the designs on sardine tin labels. They always seem so exotic and exciting. This design is me imagining a half-open tin of Sardines Al Limone from Waitrose (other supermarkets are available.) The printed fishes on the label are in contrast to the actual beady-eyed fish staring out from the depths of the tin. Drawn in a loose style with graphic black lines and a bright colour wash on top this is one of my favourite designs.
A Slice of Culinary Adventure on Your Wall
Always an element of danger when trying to open one of these tins with the winding key mechanism. Will it snap and break halfway through or will I slice my finger off....Danger, sardines, olive oil and lemon. Tea time excitement.
